Behind the Art

Hello! My name is Kevin Deasey and I’m a Chicago-based illustrator and designer. Throughout my life I have always been drawn to color, texture and the ability to tell stories through design. I’m fascinated by how a scene from a movie, to a canvas on the wall can both evoke unique emotions and memories. Through my work, my goal is to connect with others, and to inspire them with compositions and palettes they have never seen before.

Throughout my career, I have worked with talented teams to develop projects for a variety of different industries.

Over the past three years I’ve been the primary designer for Jeppson's Malört (Owned by CH Distillery). I've created product labels, apparel, merchandise, website UI, and social media content, helping grow the brand's visual identity.

In my creative journey, I have built many formative relationships along the way. As someone who is constantly inspired and motivated by the creativity of others, I am always looking for opportunities to contribute my unique vision as a designer.
